RattanIndia Enterprises Ltd's electric mobility business Revolt Motors has introduced its RV1 and RV1+ electric two-wheelers in Sri Lanka in a key milestone in its international expansion strategy. The launch follows the success of the company in Nepal just last month and is consistent with its broader vision to lead the electric two-wheeler revolution in South Asia.
Major Developments:
- RV1 and RV1+ are competitively priced at INR 84,990 and INR 99,990 respectively aiming to make e-mobility affordable for mass markets in emerging economies.
- Both machines have high-tech features including dual disc brakes, multiple modes, reverse assist, and a six-inch LCD display with real-time diagnostics.
- Battery options include a 2.2 kWh option with a maximum of 100 km range and a 3.24 kWh option with a maximum of 160 km range, catering to the different requirements of commuters. - The RV1+ boasts a large capacity of 250 kg, the longest seat in its category, and rapid charging, perfect for family and city riders.
Strategic Growth:
- It has already manufactured over 50,000 electric bikes from its Manesar plant and is increasing production to 3 lakh units annually by 2026.
