Samsung Galaxy AI has expanded its language support to 22 languages with the addition of Gujarati, marking the second Indian language after Hindi. 	Samsung Electronics announced a significant update to its Galaxy AI platform by adding Gujarati and Filipino languages, bringing the total supported languages to 22. This expansion reflects Samsung's commitment to democratizing artificial intelligence tools across diverse linguistic landscapes.
	 
	Launched on October 29, the new language packs are available for download on supported Samsung Galaxy smartphones via the Settings menu. Samsung's Galaxy AI suite offers features like Live Translate for real-time two-way voice/text translation, Interpreter for in-person conversation translation, Chat Assist for tailored messaging tone adjustments, and Note Assist for productivity enhancement.
	 
	The addition of Gujarati was developed in collaboration with Samsung R&D Institute India, Bengaluru, highlighting focused localization efforts to empower regional language speakers. Giridhar Jakki, Senior Director and Head of Language AI Team at Samsung R&D India, said that this milestone empowers millions of Gujarati speakers to enjoy seamless AI-powered communication through their native language.
	 
	Galaxy AI’s growing adoption is evident as it is actively used by over 70% of Galaxy S25 users globally, and India is a leading market with 91% user engagement on the platform.
