Tata Steel has unveiled a significant expansion of its Ores, Mines & Quarries (OMQ) division as a landmark achievement when the company celebrates 100 years of mining operations at Noamundi Iron Ore Mine. The expansion is focused on boosting the mining capacity to 55 million tonnes from the current 40 million tonnes in the next five years, underscoring Tata Steel's thrust for modernization and sustainability. The firm is drawing up bids for fresh mining blocks in Odisha, Jharkhand, and Chhattisgarh.

Tata Steel is introducing dialysis centers at TMH Hospital in Noamundi to enhance healthcare access.
