As Seattle University continues to grow its global student population, adding international cricket to campus is more than adding a sport-it's welcoming world diversity and building belonging. Cricket will be the second most-watched sport globally, with over 2.5 billion fans around India, Pakistan, the UK, Australia, and more. For international students, it's a connection to home and heritage. Its own cricket culture is also flourishing in Seattle, with the Seattle Orcas having fans and the city hosting major events like the ICC Men's T20 World Cup.

Strength is where cricket resides with its capability of uniting individuals from diversions, evident through neighborhood bashes and growing sport popularity across America. Its inclusion at Seattle U would be reflective not just of its students' diversity but would also serve to open new bases for school and community pride as well as community outreach, partnership, and outreach. Now's the moment when Seattle U joins this movement-not as cheerers, but as players within truly global football."
