Ola's AI Masterstroke: Building India's Largest Supercomputer and Sovereign Cloud

Ola's AI business, Krutrim, has declared a historic tie-up with Lenovo to create Krutrim 3, a 700-billion-parameter AI model, and India's largest supercomputer. This will help India build its first sovereign cloud for AI, breaking the Western cloud providers' grip. Ola's CIO Navendu Agarwal made these announcements at Lenovo Tech World India 2025 in Mumbai. The project is in line with Ola founder Bhavish Aggarwal's Rs 2,000 crore investment in Krutrim, to be raised to Rs 10,000 crore next year. Ola has a 700-strong team that is working to develop full-stack AI products, having already come out with Krutrim 1 and 2 models. This places Ola at the center of India's AI revolution.
