Omar Abdullah Criticizes INDIA Bloc's Internal Discord Amid BJP's Lead in Delhi Elections

As the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) takes an early lead in the Delhi Assembly elections, National Conference leader Omar Abdullah has expressed concerns over the internal conflicts within the opposition's INDIA alliance. He emphasized the absence of clarity in leadership and strategy, suggesting that if the alliance was solely intended for parliamentary elections, it should be dissolved. Abdullah urged constituent parties, particularly the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) and Congress, to collaboratively strategize against the BJP's rising influence in Delhi. He also highlighted the lack of regular meetings and a cohesive agenda within the alliance, calling for immediate action to address these issues. 

 

In the latest election trends, the BJP is leading in 41 seats, while AAP is ahead in 29.  Notably, AAP leader Arvind Kejriwal is trailing in the New Delhi constituency against BJP's Parvesh Verma.
