Padukone School of Badminton Launches in Odisha

The Padukone School of Badminton has officially opened in Odisha, marking a significant advancement in the state's sports development8. Established by badminton legend Prakash Padukone, the academy aims to train and prepare coaches, having already trained 900 coaches under its curriculum. The institution was launched by Insig Edu Sports LLP, a startup recognized by the Government of Odisha.
The academy has produced badminton stars such as Lakshya Sen, who won a bronze medal at the World Badminton Championship in 2021. Another trainee, Tanvi Patri, won the Under-15 Girls Singles Title at the Badminton Asia U17 & U15 Junior Championships 2024.
