Powering a Safer Future: Maruti's e-Vitara Puts Safety First

Maruti Suzuki's initial electric vehicle, the e-Vitara, has been put through intense internal crash tests, indicating a solid commitment to safety. Photos show the SUV going through frontal and side impact tests, demonstrating the strength of its Heartect-e platform. Although unofficial NCAP tests, these internal tests paint Maruti as committed to safety within the EV category. The e-Vitara has some great safety features, such as seven airbags, Level 2 ADAS, and a 360-degree camera. Launching in March 2025, this electric SUV will take on competitors like the Tata Curvv EV and Hyundai Creta EV, possibly setting new safety benchmarks in the process.
