Raducanu's Comeback Crumbles: Wind and Uchijima Blow Away British Star at Indian Wells

Emma Raducanu's return to tennis ended in disappointment as she fell to Japan's Moyuka Uchijima 6-3, 6-2 in the first round of Indian Wells. Playing her first match since a stalking incident in Dubai, Raducanu struggled with gusty desert winds and her opponent's consistent play. The 22-year-old Brit, ranked 55th, couldn't find her rhythm against the 52nd-ranked Uchijima. Despite the loss, Raducanu remained positive, stating she didn't dwell on the Dubai incident and is focused on improving her game with new coach Vladimir Platenik. The defeat marks Raducanu's sixth loss in nine matches this year.
