Rajasthan's Green Budget 2025-26: Boosting Jobs, Tourism, and Sustainability

Rajasthan's Deputy Chief Minister Diya Kumari presented the state's first "green budget" for 2025-26, focusing on employment, tourism, and environmental sustainability. The budget announces 1.25 lakh government job recruitments and aims to create 1.5 lakh private sector jobs. Key initiatives include developing a tribal tourist circuit, establishing new industrial areas, and investing in renewable energy projects. The state plans to become a $350 billion economy by 2030, with significant allocations for infrastructure development, including nine greenfield expressways. The budget also emphasizes environmental protection, climate change adaptation, and biodiversity conservation, marking a significant step towards sustainable growth in Rajasthan.
