Ramco Cements has posted impressive second-quarter results for FY2026, outperforming market forecasts on both revenue and profit fronts. The company reported a consolidated net profit of ₹743.1 million, a three-fold increase from ₹257.7 million in the same quarter last year. Revenue from operations rose 9.52% year-on-year to ₹2,238.74 crore, surpassing IBE-S estimates of ₹2,182 crore.

Despite flat cement sales volume at 4.40 million tonnes, the company maintained healthy margins through cost optimization and operational discipline. The early monsoon and GST rate rationalization impacted volume growth, while capacity utilization dipped to 71% from 75% due to recent capacity additions.
