Range Rover Sport Autobiography Debuts In India With Local Assembly And Flagship Features

The Range Rover Sport Autobiography marks a significant milestone for JLR India, being the first Autobiography trim locally assembled. Bookings are now open nationwide, with deliveries expected to begin shortly. The SUV blends performance, luxury, and technology, appealing to India’s growing premium SUV market.

Engine Options

The locally assembled model comes with two 3.0-litre mild-hybrid engines:

Petrol (P400): 394 hp, 550 Nm, 0–100 km/h in 5.5 seconds.

Diesel (D350): 346 hp, 700 Nm, 0–100 km/h in 5.8 seconds.

For enthusiasts seeking more power, the imported version offers a 4.4-litre V8 producing 523 hp and 750 Nm. 

Design And Features

The SUV retains the clean Range Rover aesthetic with Autobiography-specific touches like 22-inch Satin Black alloy wheels, red brake callipers, and exclusive colour options (Borasco Grey, Ostuni Pearl White, Santorini Black, Carpathian Grey). Inside, the cabin boasts Full Extended Leather pack, 22-way adjustable heated and ventilated front seats, reclining rear seats, and 11.4-inch rear entertainment screens. 

Technology And Comfort

The Autobiography trim is equipped with a 13.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system, Meridian Signature sound system, four-zone climate control, and a gesture-controlled powered tailgate.
