RBI Wins Prestigious Digital Transformation Award 2025

The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has been honored with the Digital Transformation Award 2025 by Central Banking, London, for its innovative digital initiatives, Sarthi and Pravaah. Sarthi, launched in January 2023, digitized internal workflows, enhancing document management and data analysis. Pravaah, introduced in May 2024, streamlined external regulatory applications, increasing transparency and efficiency. These systems have significantly reduced paper-based submissions, transforming RBI's operations. The award recognizes the RBI's efforts in modernizing its processes, making it one of the most digitally advanced central banks globally.
