Russia’s First Deputy Energy Minister Pavel Sorokin reaffirmed the country’s commitment to meeting global energy demands despite sanctions. Speaking on February 11, 2025, Sorokin highlighted Russia's technological capabilities to develop energy resources and adapt to challenges posed by sanctions. While acknowledging the need for time to assess the full impact of new restrictions, he expressed confidence that sanctions would not hinder oil trade with India.
