Saif Ali Khan shared that while he and Kareena Kapoor are one of Bollywood’s most celebrated couples, they deliberately avoid joint scripts. He believes discomfort and conflict create better chemistry on screen, whereas comfort and ease in marriage can make performances flat. He added that worrying about Kareena’s comfort while acting would compromise his own performance.

Saif hinted that a murder mystery-style project, similar to Jennifer Aniston and Adam Sandler’s Netflix franchise, could be the right fit. He said such a film could rekindle excitement and offer audiences something fresh. He also cited their Tata Play commercial, where they played unconventional roles, as an example of dynamics that work. 

Respect For Kareena’s Talent

Despite his reservations, Saif emphasized that working with Kareena would be an “honour,” praising her as a phenomenal actor and presence. He acknowledged that any collaboration would need to be approached carefully to avoid predictability. 

Saifeena’s Journey

The couple first met on the sets of Tashan in 2007–08, married in 2012, and are now parents to two sons, Taimur and Jeh. Their last major film together was Agent Vinod (2012), and fans have been waiting over a decade for their reunion on screen.
