Say Hello to Magic: Nano Banana AI Editing Comes to Google Photos India

Google’s cutting-edge Nano Banana AI model, previously available in the US, is set to revolutionize photo editing on Google Photos in India. The highlight is the “Help me edit” feature, allowing users to simply describe desired edits like “remove sunglasses,” “open eyes,” or “make everyone smile.” This conversational AI responds with seamless, natural-looking adjustments. Beyond basic edits, Nano Banana lets users apply artistic effects—turn photos into Renaissance portraits, mosaics, or storybook illustrations.

 

Google Photos will also introduce a “Create with AI” carousel featuring ready-made templates for quick transformations such as professional headshots or holiday cards. Soon, personalized templates tailored to users' photo libraries and interests will enhance the creative experience. The AI-powered “Ask Photos” search feature is expanding to more countries and languages, improving photo retrieval via natural language queries.

 

This launch marks a milestone in India’s digital creativity, empowering users with effortless, imaginative editing tools driven by Google’s Gemini AI technology.
