In a recent revelation, Indian cricketer Shubman Gill acknowledged his ongoing challenges with red-ball batting, stating, "I sometimes lose focus after getting 25-30 runs." Following a commendable century in the Ranji Trophy against Karnataka, Gill reflected on his tendency to succumb to pressure, which has hindered his ability to convert starts into substantial scores. He emphasized the need to maintain concentration and avoid self-imposed pressure to excel in Test matches. This admission comes after a disappointing performance in Australia, where he averaged just 18.60 in six innings.
