SJVN Powers Ahead: 100.25 MW Solar Capacity Goes Live in Bikaner

Milestone Update: SJVN Green Energy Ltd, a wholly-owned subsidiary of SJVN Ltd, has declared commercial operation of a 100.25 MW unit of its flagship 1,000 MW Bikaner Solar Power Project in Rajasthan. It is a significant milestone of India's renewable energy campaign.

Project Highlights:

The 100.25 MW is part of the overall 1,000 MW solar project being developed in stages.

With this addition, the project has now achieved a total operating capacity of 501.02 MW.

The remaining capacity will be commissioned in the coming months, further solidifying SJVN's clean energy growth thrust.

Strategic Significance:

Bikaner Solar Power Project is one of the largest public sector undertaking solar initiatives in India.

It is in line with the Government of India's renewable energy targets and enables grid decarbonization.

The project will be supplying electricity to many states, enhancing energy security and reducing the reliance on fossil fuels.

Operational Outlook:

The new capacity will begin contributing to revenue from July 2025.
