Sri Adhikari Brothers faces leadership shake-up as top promoters step down

Leadership exits at Sri Adhikari Brothers Television Network  
Sri Adhikari Brothers Television Network Ltd (SABTNL), a prominent player in India’s media and entertainment sector, has reported that two of its senior promoter-directors have stepped down. Ravi Gautam Adhikari resigned as Chairman, while Kailasnath Markand Adhikari resigned as Managing Director. The company disclosed these changes to the stock exchanges in compliance with SEBI’s listing regulations.  

Founded in 1985 by Gautam and Markand Adhikari, the group became India’s first publicly listed television production company in 1995. Over the decades, it has expanded into broadcasting, content production, and publishing. Analysts note that the resignations signal a generational shift, with the next line of leadership expected to steer the company’s future strategy amid evolving digital media trends.
