Take Off to the Future: Navi Mumbai International Airport Set to Revolutionize Travel by May 2025

The Navi Mumbai International Airport, scheduled to be inaugurated on April 17, 2025, will change the aviation landscape in Mumbai. A modern facility sited at Ulwe, Raigad, this airport is to start its commercial operations by May 2025 with the operation of Terminal 1 and the first of the two proposed runways. NMIA aims to ease considerably the congestion levels that exist currently at the present Mumbai airport besides enhancing the passenger's travel experience. With a capacity of 20 million passengers per annum, this airport promises to be a pivotal hub for both domestic and international flights.
