Tata Motors Shifts Gears: Commercial Vehicle Prices to Increase Starting April 2025

Tata Motors, India's leading commercial vehicle maker, has raised prices by up to 2% on its entire range of commercial vehicles from April 1, 2025. The price hike is intended to counteract increasing input costs and will differ based on the model and variant. This follows a previous price hike in January 2025 and is in line with industry practice where firms raise prices to counteract rising production costs.

Maruti Suzuki also raised the prices of its cars by up to 4% in response to wider pressures faced by automakers from inflation and supply chain disruptions. The move by Tata Motors highlights the requirement to balance cost pressures while staying competitive in the market.
