Expansion of National Network

The Kolkata plant is Tata Motors' eighth Registered Vehicle Scrapping Facility (RVSF) and third in eastern India, complementing facilities in Jaipur, Bhubaneswar, Surat, Chandigarh, Delhi NCR, Pune, and Guwahati. This addition further enhances accessibility for customers interested in environmentally friendly vehicle disposal.

All-Brands, All-Types Coverage:

Piloted with Selladale Synergies India Pvt. Ltd, the facility can dismantle passenger vehicles, commercial vehicles, two-wheelers, and three-wheelers of any brand with ease and safety.

Digital and Environment-Friendly Operations:

The RVSF is completely digitalized and paperless with cell-type dismantling for commercial vehicles and two/three-wheelers, and line-type dismantling for passenger vehicles. Dedicated stations provide safe extraction and environmentally friendly disposal of tyres, batteries, oils, fuels, and gases, in accordance with India's vehicle scrappage policy.

Enhancing Circular Economy & Employment:

The project is welcomed by West Bengal's Transport Minister as a "giant leap for clean mobility and circular economy objectives." It is anticipated to lower environmental strain, encourage energy-efficient vehicles, and create precious employment in the state.
