Triple the Fold, Triple the Fun: Samsung's G Fold Flips the Script

Samsung is set to launch its first triple-fold phone, the Galaxy G Fold, in July 2025. The revolutionary phone will have a novel G-shaped fold design, with outer screens folding inwards, different from Huawei's S/Z-shaped Mate XT. With a 9.96-inch unfolded screen, the Galaxy G Fold will be presented together with the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Z Flip 7 at Samsung's yearly foldable event. Though mass production is expected to commence a few months after parts sourcing in April, the small initial production indicates a gradual rollout and high-end pricing. Though it announced in 2025, the revolutionary device will not see retail until January 2026.
