The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) Board has approved a colossal ₹5,258.68 crore budget for the fiscal year 2025-26, showcasing the temple's financial prowess. This celestial cash flow is expected to come primarily from devotee offerings (₹1,729 crore) and interest on deposits (₹1,310 crore). The board's forward-thinking resolutions include salary hikes for temple kitchen workers, offline darshan options for elderly and differently-abled devotees, and financial aid for temple reconstructions across multiple locations. Additionally, plans to revamp VIP guest houses and reallocate land previously earmarked for a science city project highlight TTD's commitment to balancing tradition with progress.
