Umbrella Alert: Capital Gets Surprise Shower Weekend

The national capital is witnessing a spell of light drizzle, with further wet weather expected to continue till Friday. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted light rain or drizzle by the night, with chances of thunderstorms and rain for the next two days. This sudden change in weather has provided a slight relief from the increasing temperatures, with both maximum and minimum temperatures remaining above normal. The lowest temperature on Wednesday reached 15 degrees Celsius, three notches higher than the season average. Citizens have been advised to carry an umbrella and be ready for possible traffic obstructions due to damp road conditions.
