UP's Skill Development Mission: Where 14 Lakh Dreams Take Flight!

In a remarkable feat, the Uttar Pradesh Skill Development Mission has been able to train 14,13,716 youth since its establishment in 2017-18. The scheme has significantly increased employability with 5,66,483 youth getting direct employment. For further job placements, 40 large job fairs have also been conducted, providing employment for another 77,055 youth.

 

As a part of the celebrations of eight years of the Yogi Adityanath government, the mission will highlight its achievements through a grand exhibition stall at events from March 25 to 27. The mission also focuses on women empowerment, having imparted sewing and embroidery training to more than 27,000 self-employed women in 45 districts. Moreover, collaborations with leading industries ensure that training is in sync with emerging job opportunities in industries such as Jewar Airport and Film City.
