Urban Enviro Waste Management Secures ₹174.4 Million Contract from Balasinor Nagarpalika, Expanding Gujarat Footprint

Urban Enviro Waste Management Limited (UEWML) has announced securing a new work order valued at ₹174.4 million from Balasinor Nagarpalika in Gujarat. This latest contract follows a series of successful bids by the company in recent months, including a ₹147.17 million order from Khambhat Municipality in December 2024.The new work order is expected to involve door-to-door garbage collection and related waste management services in Balasinor, further strengthening UEWML's presence in Gujarat's municipal waste management sector.This contract win comes amid a period of strong financial performance for UEWML. The company reported impressive growth in FY2024, with net sales increasing by 162% to ₹102 crore and net profit soaring by 250% to ₹7 crore compared to the previous fiscal year.UEWML's stock has been performing well, hitting a 52-week high of ₹510.90 per share recently, up 93% from its 52-week low. The company's strong return on equity (ROE) of 126% and return on capital employed (ROCE) of 39% have made it an attractive option for investors in the waste management sector.
