Wabag Expands Footprint in Bahrain and Saudi Arabia

VA Tech Wabag, a prominent water technology multinational, has acquired major orders in Bahrain and Saudi Arabia, cementing its hold in the Middle East. In Bahrain, it secured a seven-year operation and maintenance contract of an industrial wastewater treatment plant from BAPCO Refining for $14 million. In Saudi Arabia, Wabag, as a member of a consortium, won a $371 million contract for an independent 200 MLD sewage treatment plant in Riyadh. These initiatives reflect Wabag's capabilities in state-of-the-art water and wastewater solutions such as membrane bioreactor technology. The growing portfolio in the region reflects the company's focus on providing sustainable water management solutions for both industrial and municipal uses.
