Weather Watch: Rain and Thunderstorms Sweep Across India

Another western disturbance is approaching North-West India, probable to deliver light to moderate rain and thunderstorms over Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, and Uttar Pradesh. While an easterly wave is likely to impact the South Peninsula, which might result in scattered showers over parts of Tamil Nadu and coastal Andhra Pradesh. These systems can also trigger thunderstorms and gusty winds over affected areas. India Meteorological Department (IMD) issued warnings for such conditions for the next couple of days.
