Adani Ports: Can the Market Leader Sustain Its Gains?

The Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone (APSEZ) rally is sustained on a 26% YoY profit growth and 17% QoQ rise in cargo volumes in Q2 FY2024. Expansions at Mundra Port, along with the government-supported growth of infrastructure, have strengthened the prospects. But analysts still have concerns regarding the global trade environment. In this context, diversified operations, with strong ESG initiatives, outperform others such as DP World. The long-term sustainability would be known through Q3 updates.
