Chhattisgarh's Five-Year Plan: Double the GDP, Double the Prosperity

Chhattisgarh has also chalked out a plan to double its Gross State Domestic Product (GSDP) to Rs 10 lakh crore by 2028. This strategy aims at utilizing the resources of the state and making progressive policies for improving economic growth. The focus of the strategy will be industrial growth, renewable energy, and development of infrastructure with a priority to education and vocational training. Focus sectors will be semiconductors, data technology, pharma, and renewable energy. The government has already acquired investment commitments worth more than Rs 1 lakh crore in the last 15 months. This move is as per the goal of developing India as a country by 2047 and making Chhattisgarh a competitive player in the race for national development.
