This will empower at least 1.3 million youth with demand-driven courses in renewable energy, electric mobility, and advanced manufacturing, ensuring a future-ready workforce for India’s evolving economy.

Solar Power Expansion: A $650 million loan will accelerate rooftop solar adoption nationwide, supporting the Pradhan Mantri Surya Ghar: Muft Bijli Yojana. The initiative aims to bring clean, affordable energy to 10 million households by 2027, significantly advancing India’s renewable energy targets.

Healthcare Modernization: Assam’s healthcare system will receive a $398.8 million boost to modernize tertiary care and medical education, addressing critical gaps and improving health outcomes for the state’s population.

Urban Mobility Upgrade: The Chennai Metro Rail Investment Project (Tranche 2) will get $240 million to expand its network with 20 km of elevated and underground corridors, including 18 new stations, enhancing connectivity for millions of commuters.

Ecotourism and Livelihoods: Meghalaya will receive $77 million to promote integrated ecotourism and sustainable agriculture, supporting the state’s vision to become a top eco-destination while boosting farmers’ incomes.
