Gold Prices Surge, Silver Dips: Mixed Trends in Precious Metals Market on March 4, 2025

Gold prices continued their upward trajectory on March 4, 2025, with 24-carat gold reaching ₹87,380 per 10 grams in major Indian cities. The 22-carat variant traded at ₹80,100 per 10 grams. However, silver prices showed a slight decline, dropping to ₹96,900 per kg. In Delhi, 24-carat gold was priced at ₹88,200, while Mumbai saw rates of ₹89,050 for the same purity. The surge in gold prices is attributed to global economic uncertainties and geopolitical tensions. Experts advise cautious investment, citing potential volatility in the precious metals market.
