India Unveils Ambitious ₹2,250 Crore Export Promotion Mission to Propel Global Trade

The Indian government has launched a new Export Promotion Mission with a budget of ₹2,250 crore to enhance the country's export capabilities. This initiative, announced by Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, aims to streamline trade processes and provide better access to export credit for MSMEs. The mission will integrate key stakeholders through a digital platform called BharatTradeNet, designed to modernize international trade practices. This strategic move is expected to bolster India's position in global markets amidst rising protectionism.
