McDonald's India Operator Westlife Foodworld Reports Mixed Q3 Results Amid Economic Headwinds

Westlife Foodworld, the operator of McDonald's restaurants in western and southern India, announced its Q3 FY2025 consolidated results, reporting total revenue from operations of 6.54 billion rupees. However, the company's profit after tax dropped significantly by 59% to 70.1 million rupees, compared to 172. million rupees in the same quarter last year. The decline in profits is attributed to cost-conscious consumers reducing discretionary spending due to persistently high food prices. Despite the challenges, Westlife Foodworld continues to navigate the competitive fast-food landscape in India.
