Meenakshi Natarajan Appointed as AICC In-charge for Telangana

Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge has appointed Meenakshi Natarajan as the new AICC in-charge for Telangana, replacing Deepa Dasmunsi. This strategic move comes ahead of crucial local body elections in the state. Natarajan, a close confidante of Rahul Gandhi, brings extensive experience to the role, having previously served as an AICC observer during the 2023 Telangana Assembly polls. Her appointment is seen as a significant step to address internal party challenges, improve coordination between ministers and MLAs, and galvanize Congress efforts in the state. Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy and other party leaders have welcomed the decision.
