Minor Hotels Signs Anantara’s First Resort And Urban Hotel In India

The move highlights Minor Hotels’ strategic entry into India’s growing luxury hospitality market. With a portfolio of over 640 properties worldwide, the company is introducing its flagship Anantara brand to Indian travelers and international guests seeking premium experiences.  

Resort In Coorg  

The Anantara Zanti Coorg Resort will be located in Karnataka’s Western Ghats, a UNESCO-recognized region. Designed by Sri Lankan architect Channa Daswatte, the 69-key resort will blend tropical modernism with immersive experiences, offering guests a serene retreat near Madikeri.  

Urban Hotel In Kolkata  

The Anantara Kolkata Hotel will be the brand’s first urban property in India, catering to both business and leisure travelers. Positioned in one of India’s key metropolitan hubs, the hotel will deliver refined hospitality with modern amenities and cultural integration.
