Saksham Gautam, a Class 12 humanities student from Delhi Public School, Faridabad, has just topped the CLAT 2025 exam with an outstanding score of 106.75 out of 116. His story is a great example of what happens when you follow your interests and put in steady effort.

Key Highlights:

Saksham’s family has a background in engineering, but he chose humanities because he’s genuinely interested in social sciences and understanding how society works. He’s been thinking about law as a career since he was in Class 7, inspired by leaders who used their legal knowledge for public good.

He’s not just good at competitive exams; he also scored 98.6% in his board exams, showing he balances schoolwork and entrance prep really well.

Like most students, Saksham struggled with distractions, especially from social media. He dealt with this by setting boundaries for himself and relying on support from his family and teachers.

He started preparing for CLAT in Class 11, focusing on getting his basics right before ramping up his efforts in Class 12. He found mock tests and a flexible study plan especially helpful.

Saksham attended LegalEdge coaching, which gave him structure and regular practice through mock exams.

He hopes to join NLSIU Bangalore and eventually use his law degree to serve society. The UPSC is also on his radar for the future.

His advice to other students is simple: keep competing with yourself, stay consistent, and don’t lose hope when things get tough.

Saksham’s journey is proof that choosing your own path and sticking with it can really pay off.
