The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has postponed all remaining CA Final Group II, Intermediate Group II, and PQC International Taxation exams from May 9 to 14, 2025, due to escalating India-Pakistan tensions and security issues. Foundation exams and other CA papers falling after May 14 are not impacted. ICAI has assured candidates that new dates will be announced "in due course" but has made no commitment to holding the exams before June. Students have been advised to check the official ICAI website from time to time for updates as and when the situation demands. The postponement affects thousands of candidates throughout the country, with exam centers in high-alert areas like Kashmir and Punjab being worst hit. The decision prioritizes candidate safety amid ongoing military operations and regional disruptions.
