For the quarter ending March 31, 2025, United Spirits Ltd demonstrated a strong performance with a standalone net profit of ₹4.51 billion, representing a solid growth of 75% year-over-year. During the quarter, its revenue from operations amounted to ₹65.49 billion which is a steady increase, even in a tough demand environment.

The strong profit growth was ascribed to the growth in revenues and cost management. Total expenses were modestly less during the quarter, which further helped the bottom line. The Prestige & Above segment, which was a major driver for United Spirits, more than delivered its key growth with underlying net sales value of 10.2%. United Spirits indicated that there were fewer IPL matches involving Royal Challengers Bengaluru in the month compared to last year, thus taking away from that sales growth.

United Spirits reported a consolidated net profit of ₹15.82 billion and revenue from operations of ₹272.76 billion for the full year consolidated results. The board has approved a final dividend of ₹8 per share for FY25, subject to shareholder approval at the next Annual General Meeting.

Secondly, Praveen Someshwar, CEO & Managing Director, discussing the company’s performance, focused on how United Spirit was a resilient performer delivering strong results under a tough market and that they were still committed to providing strong premiumization and operational efficiencies.
