India's boxers staged a power-packed display and advanced six to the finals of the Seychelles National Day Boxing Tournament 2025, following a sweep through the semifinals at the Paradise Arena in Mahe. India's dominating display ensures the country will have an abundant medal haul as the boxers prepare for their gold medal bouts on Sunday.

  • Aditya Pratap (65kg)
  • Neeraj (75kg)
  • Himanshu Sharma (50kg)
  • Ashish Mudshaniya (55kg)
  • Anmol (60kg), 
  • Gaurav Chauhan (90+kg)
All reached the final, which is proof of India's growing strength in global boxing.
 
Dominant Semifinal Victories
  • Uttar Pradesh's Aditya Pratap won through Referee Stops Contest (RSC) in the third round against local favorite Jovanie Bouzin.
  • Neeraj (75kg), the other National Combined silver medallist, replicated Pratap's success with an RSC first-round win in the second round.
  • Himanshu Sharma of Haryana, a former Belgrade Boxing Champion, dominated Mauritius' Mathieu Soupprayen by a convincing 4:1 points verdict.
  • Ashish Mudshaniya (Uttar Pradesh), the National Combined champion, continued his good run with 4:1 victory over Guillaume Francis (Mauritius).
  • Anmol (Haryana) secured a composed 4:1 split decision win against Seychelles’ Dario Gabriel.
Heavyweight Entry:
Gaurav Chauhan (90+kg), 37th National Games gold medalist and 2024 Elorda Cup bronze medalist, got a bye to the final and will claim another glory in his notable career.
 
Close Contest:
Kartik Dalal (70kg) battled bravely but lost 1:4 to South Africa's Blessing Nziyana, missing the finals spot.
 
With these remarkable performances, Indian boxers not only established themselves on the international scene but also increased hopes of a golden haul at the tournament.
