Green Dreams Take Flight: Gadkari Hails India as Innovation Powerhouse at Brazil Diaspora Meet

Union Minister Nitin Gadkari, addressing the Indian diaspora in São Paulo, Brazil, declared India a "hub for green innovation," referring to the nation's rapid progress in sustainable development and clean energy. Gadkari invited foreign residents of Indian origin to invest in India's emerging biofuels, green hydrogen, clean energy, and flex-fuel mobility sectors, referring to the government's vigorous push for climate-friendly technologies and infrastructure.

 

He appreciated the diaspora's role in strengthening India-Brazil ties in agribusiness, energy, and digital innovation and described India as a "land of opportunities" for global collaboration and investment. Gadkari also mentioned flagship initiatives like PM GatiShakti and the National Logistics Policy, which are driving the country's integrated and future-ready transportation system.

 

His outreach is a piece of a broad strategy to position India as a global frontrunner in green innovation and to welcome international collaborations for a sustainable future.
