Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla has said that India remains a "land of opportunities" amidst fierce global competition due to aggressive reforms and a young, skilled population, which has contributed to the country's rising stature. Speaking at global forums recently, Birla reaffirmed that innovation, firm policy support, and strategic investments in the fields of healthcare, education, technology, and defense drive India's resurgence.

Birla highlighted the success of national initiatives such as Ayushman Bharat, which have opened up new possibilities in healthcare for locally and internationally trained professionals. He also mentioned the evolving education landscape with institutes such as IITs and AIIMS becoming global research and innovation hotspots, and the New Education Policy allowing academia-industry partnerships.

India's youth, Birla noted, are emerging as global leaders, with a number of heading multinational corporations—a sign of the nation's entrepreneurial and intellectual power. He urged everyone involved to harness the forces of technology, competition, and skill-creation, rendering India's growth all-encompassing and long-lasting.

As India marches ahead to its 2047 vision, Birla called upon the diaspora and local entrepreneurs to access opportunities in IT, green energy, high-end manufacturing, and defense technology, fortifying India's position as the world's fastest-growing major economy.
