Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav has made domestic technology the linchpin of the state's development agenda, marking a new era of indigenous self-reliance and Indian innovation. Flagging off the 2,100th metro coach recently from a visit to Bengaluru's Bharat Earth Movers Limited (BEML), CM Yadav handed over land for establishing a new BEML manufacturing plant in Raisen district, highlighting the state's emphasis on indigenous solutions and cutting-edge manufacturing.
 
Key Highlights:
  • Indigenous Innovation Push: CM Yadav asserted that the future of India resides in creating and embracing indigenous technologies, pointing out that self-reliance will propel the country ahead more forcefully than external alliances.
  • Large Investments and Employment Generation: Yadav, during the MP Tech Growth Conclave 2025, unveiled investment proposals of over ₹20,000 crore and projects likely to create more than 75,000 jobs. The prominent projects are the Electronic Manufacturing Cluster 2.0 in Bhopal and new IT parks in major cities.
  • Strategic Collaborations: MoUs for a Drone Center of Excellence and partnership with leading institutions were signed to make Madhya Pradesh a global leader in space technology, cyber security, and digital innovation.
  • Industry and Youth Support: New semiconductor, drone, and digital economy policies were announced, and technology and creative education centers were established to enable youth with skills for the future.
  • Vision for Aatmanirbhar Bharat: CM Yadav's efforts are in tandem with the national vision of an Aatmanirbhar Bharat, creating an investor-friendly, digitally empowered ecosystem.
With these ambitious moves, Madhya Pradesh is quickly becoming a hub of indigenous tech, building benchmarks for the rest of India.
