IndiGo Airlines, operated by InterGlobe Aviation, announced a significant 18.6% decline in its consolidated net profit for Q3 FY25, totaling Rs 2,449 crore, down from Rs 2,998 crore in the same quarter last year. Despite this drop, the airline's revenue surged by 13.7%, reaching Rs 22,110.7 crore, driven by an increase in passenger traffic and improved load factors. The airline attributed the profit decline primarily to heightened operational costs and a shift in the festival season affecting demand. IndiGo maintained a robust market share of 63.8%, carrying 27.3 million passengers during the quarter.
