The Invest Kerala Global Summit (IKGS 2025) started today at the Lulu International Convention Centre with an agenda of boosting investment in 22 priority sectors. Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan launched the summit with a vision to make Kerala a sustainable destination for industries such as AI, aerospace, renewable energy, and tourism.
Over 3,000 delegates are participating in discussions to mold Kerala into a knowledge economy. Main sessions will be on topics like startup innovation and the future automotive sector. A 120-stall exhibition has products from industries ranging from public sector units to startups.
Minister P Rajeeve pointed out the government's desire to convert investment proposals into actionable projects. Australia is the country partner of this summit, as an indication of its priority on deepening economic ties with India.
