Erik Solheim, the Former Norwegian Minister of Climate and Environment, while taking a holy dip in the ongoing Mahakumbh 2025 in Prayagraj, said it was "once in a lifetime." Solheim called this grand event the largest spiritual gathering and human meeting in history, with estimates suggesting that people number around 400 million. It afforded him the opportunity to appreciate India's rich history, spirituality, and nature. During this period, the Mahakumbh has drawn, on average, 14.4 million pilgrims to Triveni Sangam per day every 144 years. The Mahakumbh continues until February 26, 2025, offering devotees the world over a chance for a truly unique spiritual journey.
