The revered Shravani Mela has commenced at Baba Baidyanath Dham in Deoghar, Jharkhand, marking the start of a month-long spiritual journey for lakhs of Kanwariyas. Coinciding with Guru Purnima, the pilgrimage sees devotees walking 108 km barefoot from Sultanganj in Bihar to offer holy Ganga water at one of Lord Shiva’s twelve Jyotirlingas.
