Remsons Industries Ltd has announced a major boost to its order book, securing new orders worth over ₹3 billion, further solidifying its position as a leading automotive components manufacturer in India and abroad. This surge in fresh business comes on the back of strategic partnerships, product innovation, and a robust push into high-value segments.
Major Order Wins:
Remsons bagged significant orders, including a ₹300 million deal for supplying winches to Tata Motors’ latest models, such as the Tata Nexon CNG, Tigor, Altroz, and Punch. The company also received a ₹300 million Letter of Intent (LOI) for supplying automotive sensors through its subsidiary, Remsons-Uni Autonics, to a leading Tier 1 supplier. Both orders are slated for execution over the next three years.
Strategic Joint Ventures and Acquisitions:
Remsons has strengthened its growth trajectory by incorporating Daiichi Remsons Electronics Pvt Ltd, a 50:50 joint venture focused on automotive electronics, and acquiring a 55% stake in Remsons-Uni Autonics. These moves expand Remsons’ footprint in the fast-growing electronics and sensor segments.
Recognition and Global Reach:
The company was recently awarded a Gold Medal in the Ecovadis Sustainability Assessment, placing it among the top 5% of companies globally for ESG excellence. Remsons continues to diversify, with a presence in over 75 countries and a rapidly expanding product portfolio that now includes advanced lighting solutions and EV-agnostic components.
