Arunachal Pradesh Governor K T Parnaik commended the Border Roads Organisation (BRO) for completing 21 key infrastructure projects in the state, including four strategic border roads and 17 new bridges. Participating virtually in the inauguration by Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, the Governor highlighted how the projects will boost national security and provide an impetus to socio-economic development in remote border areas. The new roads-linking areas in Tawang, Kra Daadi, and Upper Subansiri districts-are set to transform connectivity and uplift local communities, aligning with Prime Minister Modi’s vision of ‘Viksit Bharat’. Parnaik also commended BRO’s regional teams for their dedication and congratulated units recognized with Awards of Excellence on BRO’s 66th Raising Day. The Governor highlighted that such infrastructure is the backbone of incorporating frontier areas into the rest of the country and ensuring long-term development.
